My full name is Edward Menashih Joseph and my business
addrses de No. 8 Des Voeux Road Central Hongkong and my trade
or cooupation is that of & General Kanehart and Geminadon
Agent and that I carry on such buriness alone under the style
or firm rane of Joseph Brothers.
That my place of birth was Bagdad in Turkey in aste
and that I was born on the 27th. June 1979 and that my
nationality by birth is Turkish.
That my father was named Menashir Abdulla Joeert and
that my mother was named Rachel Raphael Joseph (Nee Ezra) and
that both of my parents were Turkish Subjecte.
Ihat my father the said Monaghih abdülla Joeerh was
employed as a Mercantile Assistant in the Mercantile Firm of
Messra. David Sasscon and Co. Limited at Honghone for & re&TË
viz. from the your 1886 to the year 1894 and that my father
then retired from his said employment and resided in Hongkong
until the 18th. day of May 1903 when he died in Hongkong. That
my mother never resided in Hongkong but needed in Bardad for
many years and then in India and in Shanghai and died there
on the 22nd. Sertember 1913.
